Wednesday, Feb. 22

KHSAA 29th District Tournament. The second night of the tournament, held this year at the Trimble County High School gymnasium, features a matchup between the Trimble County Lady Raiders and Oldham County at 6 p.m. The boys’ game at 7:30 features Oldham County vs. North Oldham. Admission is $5 per night.

Friday, Feb. 24
KHSAA 29th District Tournament. The championship round of the tournament, held this year at the Trimble County High School gymnasium, features a matchup between the first round girls’ games from Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. The boys’ championship game at 7:30 features winners of first round games played on Tuesday and Wednesday. Admission is $5 per night.

Saturday, Feb. 25
Trimble County Historical Society will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. at the TC Public Library meeting room.

Sunday, Feb. 26
The Infinite Realm will present a concert of Christian music at the Hanover Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 27
Trimble County High School Blood Drive from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Trimble County High School Gym.  Contact Carla Goins at carla.goins@trimble.kyschools.us to schedule an appointment.

Wednesday, Feb. 29
Trimble County Extension District Council will meet at the Trimble County Extension Office, 43 High Country Lane at 10 a.m.

Saturday, March 3
“Bob’s Bunch Battling ALS” will hold a fish fry and auction to raise money for ALS research at the Milton Fire and Rescue Station No. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will also include a yard sale and the “Bob’s Bunch Battling ALS Cookbook Vol. 2 will be available for purchase. Fri.-Sat., March 10-11
“Sick and Tired of Winter Yard Sale.” The yard sale will be held at the Morgan Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Booth space for both days is $20. Funds will help with the Bedford Springs Walking Trail Park. Call 255-4879 for details.

Special Notice
Little League signups. To ensure all children are able to sign up that want to play, the Trimble County Little League will continue accepting applications through Saturday, Feb. 25. Parents may pick up applications at your child’s school, both Stop N’ Go stations and the Trimble County Public Library or print it off the league website at trimblecountysports.com. The league will also have a booth during the youth league basketball games at BES this Saturday.

 JCTC Trimble Co. Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certicate, paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m.. to 3 p.m.. for classes and open lab.
