Wednesday, Jan. 18
Trimble County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. at the Administration Offices on Wentworth Ave.

The Trimble County Raiders will host Eminence at 6 p.m. in the Eight Region Class A high school boys’ basketball tournament. Walton-Verona faces Williamstown in the second game.

Thursday, Jan. 19
Trimble County Relay for Life will hold a Team Captain meeting at 6 p.m. at the TC Public Library.

Friday, Jan. 20
USDA Beginning Farmer Rancher Program “KyFarmStart” program begins 9 a.m. at the Shelby County Extension Office

The Carroll County Panthers plays the Tuesday night winner at 6 p.m. in the Eight Region Class A high school boys’ basketball tournament at Trimble County High School. Wednesday’s winners will meet in the second game.

Saturday, Jan. 21
Trimble County Lady Raiders host Conner in high school basketball. Freshmen game 5 p.m., junior varsity 6 p.m. followed by varsity game at approximately 7:30 p.m..

Trimble County High School hosts the championship game of  the Eight Region Class A high school boys’ basketball tournament at 7 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 23
Trimble County Public Library will hold a Word Basics workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Call the library at 502-255-7362 to reserve your place in the class.

Annual Red Cross Blood Drive at TCMS Gym from 1-6 p.m. To schedule an appointment, contact Carla Goins at Carla.goins@trimble.kyschools.us. Each middle school student who recruits at least one donor will receive a Red Cross watch.

Wednesday, Jan. 25
Trimble CARES will meet at noon at the Trimble County Cooperative Extention Office. Lunch provided.

The Trimble County Raiders will host St. Francis in high school basketball. Freshmen game at 5 p.m., junior varsity at 6 p.m., varsity game to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 27

Milton Fire and Rescue subscriptions are now due. Milton Fire District starts at Ohio River and includes 421N at McKinney Farm Road, Palmyra Road and adjoining county side roads including a major portion of Bells Ridge Road. If you haven’t received your subscription notice yet and are unsure of your district, call 268-3016, Milton Fire Dept. #1 for assistance.  

JCTC Trimble Co. Adult Education offers FREE tutoring for GED preparation, brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certicate, paraeducator testing, learning to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday and Thursday from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. for classes and open lab. Classes and some appointments are available on Wednesday.  Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays by appointment.  Some evening appointments are available.  While supplies last, students may earn incentives for reaching certain goals.  For more information and to make an appointment, please call 502-255-9191.
