Wednesday, Nov. 9
Trimble County Middle School will honor veterans in our community with a visual exhibit, as well as a short program from 9-9:45 a.m. Refreshments will be provided afterward.
Friday, Nov. 11
Trimble County Fiscal Court will hold a work session at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, to discuss animal control ordinances. The public is invited to attend and give feedback on animal control and what should be included in documents of enforcement for the county’s soon-to-be-hired animal control officer.
Saturday, Nov. 12
Milton Volunteer Firemen are sponsoring a Chili/bean soup dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the station at top of Milton Hill. Included is sandwich, dessert and drink.
Sunday, Nov. 13
Milton Baptist Church will be recognizing Harold Butler in the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Harold has served as Deacon at Milton for 50+ years and will be honored as Deacon Emeritus. A potluck meal will follow in the Fellowship Hall with meat and drinks provided. Friends and relatives are invited to join in honoring Harold in the worship service and/or at the meal to follow.

Trimble County Alumni Association will hold a work session at 7 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library to discuss plans for the annual Alumni Banquet, the Trimble County High School centennial celebration and fundraising ideas to benefit the Alumni Scholarship.

The TCHS Cheerleaders would like to invite everyone to a 31 Purse Party in the high school cafeteria from 3:30-6:30.
Saturday, Nov. 19
Trimble County Historical Society will meet at 1 p.m. in the Kentucky Room at the Trimble County Public Library. All members are urged to attend as election of new officers will be held.
Tuesday, Nov. 22
2012 Relay for Life kick-off for Trimble County is from 6-8 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library in Bedford. There will be lots of info and a chance to find out how you can help in the fight against cancer.
JCTC Trimble County Adult Education does WAY more than GED preparation! In addition to GED preparation, JCTC TCAE also offers the following: brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate, paraeducator testing, learn to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays by appointment. Some evening appointments are available. The Tri-County Community Action Agency is in need of volunteers for the Meals on Wheels Program. One day a week for one hour at lunch. Please call Shirley at 255-7514.
