Wednesday, Sept. 28
Trimble Cares will meet at noon at Trimble County Extension Office, 43 High Country Lane. Lunch will be provided. For more information call 255-5110x1044.

Saturday, Oct. 1
The third annual Rotary men’s softball tournament will be held at Trimble County Park from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  The Bedford Rotary Club will serve snacks and refreshments throughout.  All proceeds will benefit local education programs.

Monday, Oct. 3
Tri-County Community Action Agency along with Bluegrass Drug Center  will be doing the Flu Shot at Senior Building in Trimble Co. park at 10:30. Please call to make appointment at 255-7514. Ask for Shirley.  

Wednesday, Oct. 5
Tihisha Rawlins will be at the Senior Citizens Building at noon to answer questions on Medicare and Social Security.

Saturday, Oct. 15
The Milton Elementary School PTO Fish Fry & Auction starts with  food being served from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kids games will be conducted from 3-5:30 p.m. An auction will be held at 6:30 p.m., featuring classroom themed baskets, student art and donations from local businesses. Advanced tickets (adults $6, children $4) are available at the school office or may be purchased from MES students. Tickets the day of the event will be $7 adults, $4 children.

Class of 1986 will start their 25th reunion with a pitch-in picnic at the Bedford Firehouse at noon and will continue into the evening by meeting at Belterra at 7 p.m. For more information contact Mike Albert at 255-0616 or Debbie Perry at 255-3029 or perry@seidata.com

Saturday, Oct. 22
Halloween Costume Party from 6-9 p.m. at Morgan Community Center. Music, games, eats and treats. Prizes for costumes so come dressed to win. $5 per person or $15 for family (4 or more) All proceeds support the Hands of Christ Food Pantry.

Monday, Oct. 31
Trick or Treat will be from 6-8 for children 12 and younger. Residents should have porch light on if wanting to ‘treat.’ Children should be accompanied by an adult. Motorist please watch for children crossing the streets.

JCTC Trimble County Adult Education does WAY more than GED preparation!  In addition to GED preparation, JCTC TCAE also offers the following: brush up on academic skills, college preparation, National Career Readiness Certificate, paraeducator testing, learn to speak English, and more. The Center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Testing and orientations are given on Tuesdays by appointment.  Some evening appointments are available.  Also, while supplies last, students may earn incentives for reaching certain goals.  For more information and to make an appointment, please call 502 255-9191.
