The Trimble County Lady Raiders golf team broke into the win column Wednesday with a win over Gallatin County at Sugar Bay by a score of 213 to 261. The Lady Raiders were led once again by Hayley Baker with a strong 49. Kate Staples added a 50, Brooke Huff a 51, which included a 50 foot plus putt. Megan Turner and Sidney Gossom gave Trimble a choice of scoring 63s and a non-scoring 63 while Kaitlynn Harmon had a non-scoring 67. The girls are improving with each match and look forward to the next match on Tuesday the 21st of Aug.

In an earlier match with Williamstown, Hayley Baker with a 46 led the Lady Raiders in a losing effort. All Trimble County players improved their scores from last week but it wasn’t enough to overcome fine play by Williamstown. The girls were in action last night at Fairway Country Club in Owen County for the All Region 18 hole match.
