The discovery of a meth lab in Bedford Wednesday resulted in the arrest of three local men, according to Kentucky State Police Trooper Bradley Arterburn, Public Information Officer for the Campbellsburg Post 5.

“Neighbors smelled a noxious odor and reported it,” Arterburn said. Trooper Charles Loudermilk responded to 405 West Street and made the arrests of George Couch, 18, of Pleasureville; William Wolfe, 57, of Bedford; and Richard Wolfe, Jr., of Bedford.

The three were charged with manufacturing meth, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Arterburn said.

“There were no children present in the home,” Arterburn said.

All three individuals were lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.

The investigation by Tpr. Louidermilk is ongoing.
