The Trimble County Middle School Football season has officially started. On July 9, 2012 the middle school football players and coaches started practicing for the upcoming 2012 season. The practices are Monday through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. behind the middle school, next to the softball field. Head Coach Joe Perkinson and assistant coaches Mark McCane, Harold Crawford and Todd Pollock will be coaching the 7th and 8th grade players into shape to improve on last season's record. Tom Crutcher, General Manager of the Louisville Gas & Electric Company's Trimble County Generating Station, represented LG&E to make a generous donation to coaches Joe Perkinson and Mark McCane of the TCMS football program to assist the team purchase necessary equipment for the safety of the players.
