Ruth E. Griffin Albert, 82

Ruth E. Griffin Albert, age 82, Madison, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 20, 1930 in Madison, Ind., she was the daughter of Delbert and Helen (Meek) Griffin, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Meredith L. Albert also preceded her in death.

Rev. Troy Hedges conducted funeral services Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service, with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Michael L. Albert, Sr., Milton, one brother, Louis Griffin, New Albany, Ind.; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service.
