Refuse an eyesore to man’s neighbors

-A A +A

I am writing this letter on behalf of myself as well as the other residents on Hoskins Lane.
There is a tobacco base on the east side of Hoskins Lane that is owned by man who lives just down the road on Sulphur-Bedford Road. Every year, he has someone plant and harvest this field for him and it is usually not a problem.
Last spring, this gentleman had someone new do the planting and harvesting for him. If one were to ride down Hoskins Lane today, they would still see the packaging that the tobacco plants came in laying by the side of Hoskins Lane in a couple of large piles.
This eyesore has laid there long enough, and I, for one, think it is high time the responsible parties clean up their act.
The good people of Hoskins Lane deserve better than to have to look at this refuse everyday while on their way to and from home.
I hope the property owner will see this letter and take care of the problem. Trimble County is a beautiful place to live, and people should take pride in their property.
That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
