Re-enactors from several states arrived in Perryville over the weekend to present a realistic portrayal of the Civil War battle which was fought on the outskirts of that community 150 years ago on Oct. 8, 1862. Confederates are shown preparing to recreate the Battle for the Cornfield on Sunday.
