Public meeting on bridge rescheduled

Due to Tuesday’s winter storm, the public meeting scheduled for that night with Milton-Madison Bridge project officials was cancelled.
The meeting has been reschuduled for Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. at Milton Elementary School.
In the meantime, crews continue to mobilize equipment and materials at the Vaughn Drive staging area in Madison. Work is set to begin this week on an access ramp that will lead to a causeway near the bridge where barges will unload construction materials.
