Louisville, KY - The Kentucky State Fair wants to make this year’s visit more personal and convenient than ever by giving patrons the chance to plan their entire visit before arriving at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
In years past, when entering the gate, fairgoers received a Daily Schedule, an 88-page booklet complete with information on shows, acts, events and tents. This year, the bulky Daily Schedule is being replaced by a smaller, easier-to-read Fair Guide. The Fair Guide will include all of the happenings at the Fair along with their locations compiled in a convenient pamphlet.
In the weeks before the Fair, patrons can utilize a second planning tool—the concise, portable online feature known as “Plan Your Visit.” In short, the “Plan Your Visit” is a virtual itinerary. This build-your-own-schedule will allow patrons to decide what events, shows and exhibits they want to attend and at exactly what time.
“Plan Your Visit” can be accessed through the Kentucky State Fair website at www.kystatefair.org, by selecting the “General Info” tab and then the “Plan Your Visit” tab.
Patrons can select a day they wish to see a schedule of events, choose the events they would like to see and create their itinerary. Patrons can add multiple days to their itinerary, print, save or email their itinerary. The Plan Your Visit will be accessible on smart phones.
The Kentucky State Fair is Aug. 16-26. For more information visit www.kystatefair.org, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
