Panthers compete in first track event

The Carroll County track team recently competed in the Mason-Dixon Indoor Games at Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Ky., and did very well for their first meet.

The girls' team is especially young; with only eight members present for the meet, five of whom were freshman. The girls 4x200 team made up of Mary Esther Fremin, Amanda Thurlow, Andie Hardesty, and Teila Winburn took 8th place in a very controversial race.
