The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.

The following cases were heard in court the week of Sept19-Sept 23, 2011.

Felony
Jeremy Ray Cottrill, receiving stolen property under $10,000 dismissed by county attorney. No operators or moped license dismissed by county attorney. Review Oct. 18 to check if picked up by Ill. on fugitive warrant. Defendant waives extradition to Illinois, waiver signed.
Zachary Dalgleish, non-support. Apply bond to DCS and dismiss per county attorney.
Dustin W. Garrison, review. Failed to appear, warrant for $203 cash, no surety.
Verlin L. Isaac, flagrant non-support amended to misdemeanor non-support. Apply bond to DCS per assignment from CCDC, $153 court cost due Sept. 18, 270 days unconditionally discharged for 2 years, no new offenses, pay child support as ordered.
Kristin Middeler, revocation hearing. Defendant admits violation of court order, reside with ms. Hoskins, Work and pay child support as ordered, enroll in drug treatment program all due Nov. 1. Any missed payments, then balance of time to be revoked.
Richard C. Marcum, sentencing. 90 days conditionally discharged for 2 years, no new offenses, not to drive without a valid license, $153 court cost due Jan. 24.
Carroll E. Sullivan Jr., wanton endangerment, 1st degree amended to wanton endangerment, 2nd degree. Continue to Oct. 18.

Misdemeanor
Kevin Herald, assault 4th degree minor injury-2 counts. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Oct. 18.
Jeremy Liter, disorder conduct, 2nd degree, harassment, no physical contact, menacing. Diversion-pass for 12 months and if no problems will dismiss; no new offense, no unlawful contact with Ken Kline or any member of his family; $100 division fee due Oct. 18.
Raymond Thomas Payton, assault 4th degree domestic violence minor injury dismissed per county attorney, refund bond.
David R. Rabourn, review. Send order to appear and show proof of marijuana education class Oct. 4.
Robert A. Rowlett, assault 4th degree minor injury-2 counts. Continue to Oct. 18.
Everett C. Sullivan Jr., other hearing. Preliminary hearing Oct. 18, remain law abiding, no contact with complaining witness or her family. Amend bond to ROR.
Carroll Sullivan Jr., local county ordinance. Continue to Oct. 18.
Melissa Gale Wackenthaler, assault 4th degree no visible injury. Continue to Oct. 18 for pretrial conference.

Traffic
Derrick S. Barnhill, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., .08, first offense. Bench trial Nov. 1.
Mark O. Bayne, No or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt dismissed per proof. Possess of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Guilty plea entered. $50 fine and court cost of $153 due Nov. 29.
Melinda Clark, show cause for proof of enrollment and $100 due. Ok, proof shown, continue to Oct. 4 for review for Sept. payment. If paid need not appear.
Kerry L. Coots, show cause for $233 due. Paid $25. Continue to Nov. 29 for balance.
Victor A. Ellis Jr., failed to appear review. Recall DOT and continue to Nov. 29 to be here with valid license.
Terrell D. Ginn, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., .08, 1st offense, license to be in possession. Continue to Nov. 1 for pretrial conference.
John A. Grahovac, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense. Failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure to or improper signal. Guilty plea entered. 30 days loss of license, attend and complete ADE with proof of enrollment Oct. 18, fine and court cost due Sept. 18, 30 days conditionally discharge for 2 years, 50 hours of public service work due April 17. 
Douglas Hopper, show cause for proof of enrollment in ADE shown.
Ashton N. Johnson, review. Amend to dismiss with prejudice, review in 60 days for expungement. Review date Nov. 29.
Daniel J. Leczo, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $500 fine, $143 court cost; paid $500; $143 due Nov. 29.
Machiel A. Martin, failure to wear seat belts, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, reckless driving, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, 2nd offense, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Continue to Oct. 18 for plea.
Stephen M. Merritt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense dismissed per proof. Careless driving. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost paid.
Daniel R. McFarland Sr., failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, operating on suspended or revoked operators license amended to license not in possession, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Oct. 18.
Kristen Leah Middeler, review. Continue to Nov. 1 for proof of license.
Will J. Newby, other. Pretrial conference continued to Oct. 18, bench trial Sept. 20.
James E. Parker, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. $25 fine due Oct. 4. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof.
