Items published in court news are public record.
The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.

The following are cases heard the week of July 18-22, 2011.

Felony
Christopher Fluhr, failed to appear review. Defendant has not paid. Continue to July 26.
Michael K. Jester, show cause for proof of ADE classes and SA classes. Proof shown.
Kirk Samuel Lewis, review. Continue to July 26.
Timothy Ray Peters, flagrant non-support. Waived to Trimble County Grand Jury. Apply bond to child support.
Terry Gene Works, wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Refer to Trimble County Grand Jury. Defendant may return home, no contact with the alleged victims.

Misdemeanors
Mark O. Bayne, propagation and holding protected wildlife without license. Dismiss per County Attorney.
Diana Birch, theft by deception including cold checks-8 counts. Guilty plea entered. Sentencing Aug. 2.
Anna Marie Brown, review for signing expungement. Expungement signed.
Gerald E. Dillow, riding on bow, etc. while motorboat underway. Guilty plea entered. Fine paid.
Christopher Fluhr, failed to appear review. Continue to July 26.
Billy G. Frazier, illegal possession of legend drug. Pretrial conference Sept. 13. Indecent exposure, 1st degree, 1st offense, indecent exposure, 2nd degree. Final pretrial conference Sept. 13, Jury trial Sept. 29.
Waylon D. Hillard, show cause for balance due. Failed to appear, warrant for $1,030. Second charge issue new warrant for $748.
Joshua L. Hutslar, shown cause for balance due and proof of SA program. Proof of enrollment shown. Paid $90, continue to Aug. 16.
William McCoy, theft of services. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference Aug. 2.
Jordan M. Scocozza, riding on bow, etc. while motorboat underway. Continue to Aug. 16.
Alvin Seals, assault 4th degree minor injury. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Aug. 2.
Deon C. Smith, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense dismissed.
Clyde Travis, show cause for $305.10. Failed to appear. Warrant for $335.10.
Davey G. Wright, review. Diversion successful, dismissed case.

Traffic
Brandon E. Arteaga, speeding 23 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due today. Failure to produce insurance card dismissed per proof.
Joseph B. Bush, no or expired registration plates, failure to notify address change to DOT, failure to wear seat belts, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt. Continue to Aug. 2.
Bryan S. Clifford, diversion review. Dismissed.
Terri L. Cradduck, show cause for $143 due. Paid.
Fabian L. Fitzgerald, show cause for $728 due. Failed to appear. Warrant $758.
Nathan Gilbertson, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense. Not guilty plea entered. Continued to Aug. 21. No or expired plates, no or expired registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, careless driving dismissed.
Steven A. Gribbons, show cause for proof of ADE completion. Continue to Aug. 16. Defendant says he has 3 classes left, once proof is shown, court will release bond.
Frank B.  Kendrick Jr., failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Machiel A. Martin, failure to wear seat belts. Guilty plea entered. Fine paid. Failure to produce insurance card, No or expired registration receipt dismissed. Other case held over to Aug. 16 for Judge Wheeler.
Jacob M. McDougall, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 2nd or more offense. Guilty plea entered. $1,143 due Jan. 17. No or expired registration plates, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure to surrender revoked operators license dismissed.
Jeremiah S. Sharp, failed to appear review. Continue to Aug. 23.
David A. Smith, failed to appear review. Guilty plea entered to amended no operator’s license in possession. Apply bond, refund balance.
Gregory R. Smith, failure to wear seat belts. Continue to Aug. 2.
Nicole R. Smith, show cause for $100 due. Paid.
Joseph R. Stakelin, speeding 18 mph over limit, failure to produce insurance card amended to no insurance, 1st offense. Failed to appear, sent notice to DOT.
William B. Stansberry, operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Not guilty entered. Continue to Aug. 2.
James Kent Staples, review. Court to do separate order on charge of open container.
Joseph Douglas Tilley, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, .08, 2nd offense, failure to wear seat belts, failure to notify address change to DOT, possession of alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to Aug. 30.
Christina F. Wolf, speeding 13 mph over limit. Guilty plea entered, State traffic school and $143 court cost due Aug. 30. No or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt dismissed.

Civil
Capital One Bank vs Judy Hosler, review. Both parties present. Parties agree that the defendant shall have 7 days to file response to motion and plaintiff then has 7 days to file response.
Caalry Spv. LLC vs Thelma Williams. Review for default judgment. Default judgment signed.

Probate
Estate of Donald Vincent Oakley. Other hearing. Hearing held, Court continues to withhold enforcement of May 3 order.
