The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

The following cases were heard in Trimble County Court the week of June 4-June 8, 2012.
Patrick R. Box, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree-codeine, drug paraphernalia to buy or possess. Guilty plea entered. $750 fine, $250 suspended; 45 days conditionally discharged for 2 years, proof of substance abuse treatment by June 19. Fine and court cost of $653 due Aug. 14. Operating on suspended or revoked operators license continued to June 19.
Joshua Clift, burglary, 3rd degree amended to criminal trespassing, 2nd degree. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to July 31.
Rob Elliott, theft by failure to make required disposition of property. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to July 3.
Shaina M. Fornash, revocation hearing. Failed to appear. Defendant not present. Warrant for violation of bond. Bond revoked-test positive for drugs; failure to comply with MCR
Christopher M. Hyden, rape, 2nd degree, no force; sodomy, 2nd degree. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing June 12.
Ritch Rayburn, flagrant non-support. Probable cause found refer to Trimble County Grand Jury.
Benjamin T. Tharp, manufacturing methamphetamine, 1st offense, possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified, drug paraphernalia to buy or possess, tampering with physical evidence.. Continue to June 19. Attorney Bourne allowed to withdraw.
Corey Wardup, trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or more offenses. Continue to June 12.
Diana Birch, show cause for $1340 due at $25 monthly. Defendant paid, review; show cause for $273.75 due at $25 monthly. Defendant paid, review.
James W. Cornish, assault 4th degree domestic violence minor injury. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference June 19.

Corey Wardrup, theft by unlawful taking-shoplifting. Continue to June 12.
Tia E. Carmack, show cause for $313 due. Defendant paid $30. Continue to June 19.
Timothy K. Chilton, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear. Notify DOT.
Ronnie Craig, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense, failure to notify address change to DOT. Continue to June 19.
Brad M. Stickling, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered to amended DUI, 1st. $718 fine and court cost due Sept. 11; enrollment in alcohol and drug education program for 1st offenders July 3, suspension of license for 30 days. Careless driving, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle dismissed.
Carla W. Thacker, show cause for $338 due. Defendant paid $5, continue to June 19.
