The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.

The followng cases were heard the week of May 21-May 25, 2012 in the Trimble County Courthouse.

Felony
Rob Elliott, theft by failure to make required disposition of property. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing June 5.
Joseph Hayden, terroristic threatening, 3rd degree, criminal mischief, 1st degree, assault, 3rd degree, police/probation office, giving office officer false name or address. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 29.

Misdemeanor
Matthew D. Andrew, sentencing. Court sentences defendant to 10 days to serve, credit 5 days; 5 days conditionally discharged for 2 years.
Louis A. Bear, assault 4th degree domestic violence minor injury. Alford guilty plea, not final. Sentencing/review May 20, 2014.
Jerell Fraley, theft by deception under $500-18 counts. Continue to June 12.
Brandon J. Howard, show cause for $153 due. Failed to appear. Warrant for $183 id not paid today.
Adam Troy McNeese, local county ordinance. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to June 19.
Adam Q. Pollard, theft by unlawful taking, theft of services. Continue to June 19.
Nicole Pollard, theft by unlawful taking, theft of services. Continue to June 19.
Jesse W. Wilhelm, show cause for more information. Continue to June 19.
Thomas E. Woosley, show cause for $309.25 due. Continue to June 19 for balance.

Traffic
Tia E. Carmack, show cause for $413 due. Paid $20, continue to June 5.
Lauren B. Chapman, speeding 18mph over limit. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost due June 19. Failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense dismissed.
Norberta Cuevas, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Sanel Dorilas, bond forfeiture hearing. Forfeit bond.
Kevin L. Harshberger, disregarding traffic control device, traffic light dismissed. Overweight on bridge. Guilty plea entered. $179.14 and $143 court cost due.
Paul D. Hinton, failure to produce insurance card dismissed.
Keith A. Lewis, failure to produce insurance card amended to failure of owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered. $1,218 due Oct 23. Proof of enrollment in ADE program June 5.
Linda D. Oldham, speeding 10 mph over limit. Failed to appear. Notify DOT.
Stacie L. Owen, speeding 20 mph over limit, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, failure to surrender revoked operators license. Failed to appear. Notify DOT and warrant for $250.
Timothy R. Payton, show cause for $543 due. Defendant paid $100. Continue to June 19.
Joshua D. Ross, careless driving. Guilty plea entered. State traffic school and $143 court cost. Failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense dismissed.
Hany S. Salib, diversion review. No problems, successful diversion-dismissed.

Paul W. Woods, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with .08, aggravator, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered to DUI, 1st offense, aggravator. $718 fine due Nov. 20; enrollment in ADE program for 1st offenders June 19; 30 days suspension of license; 4 days jail, with 1 day credit.
