The Trimble Banner publishes all misdemeanors, felonies and small-claims judgments recorded in district court, as well as all civil suits recorded in circuit court. Juvenile court cases are not published.

Crime reports are provided by local law enforcement agencies. Charges or citations reported to The Trimble Banner do not imply guilt.

The following cases were heard in court the week of May 9-May 13, 2011.

Kenneth J. Burke, flagrant non-support. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 24.
Jeremy T. Gore, unlawful possession of meth precursor, 1st offense, drug paraphernalia for buying or possessing. Preliminary hearing May 24.
James Huff, flagrant non-support. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing held. Probable cause found, refer to Trimble County Grand Jury. Payments to be paid through the Cabinet.
Cleveland Riley, burglary, 3rd degree. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 17. Theft by unlawful taking. Continue to May 17. Theft by unlawful taking-gasoline under $500. Continue to May 17.
Steven L. Taylor, receiving stolen property. Not guilty plea entered. Hearing held. No probable cause. Dismissed without prejudice. Refund bond.
Zachariah Waters, flagrant non-support. Not guilty plea entered. Refer to Grand Jury, probable cause found.

Misdemeanor
Monty Durand, terroristic threatening, menacing. Guilty plea entered. 60 days conditionally discharged for 2 years, $143 court cost and $100 public defender fee. Apply bond and refund balance.
Lenny N. Emery, criminal mischief, 2nd degree, assault 4th degree violence minor injury, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Not guilty plea entered. 6-months diversion with a $100 diversion fee due July 5; dismissal review Nov. 8.
Nadine Greenslit, theft by unlawful taking. Not guilty plea entered. 12-month diversion, review for dismissal is May 8.
Emma Hicks, fail to comply with order to remove health nuisances. Dismissed without prejudice.
Thomas M. Hilderbrand, review for diversion. Dismissed.
Lisa Gail McClellan, show cause for proof of substance abuse program due. Continue to May 24.
Jennifer Moore, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fees and court cost $270 at show cause hearing July 5.
Charles D. Ponder, illegal taking, pursuing of deer or wild turkey. Not guilty plea entered. Continue to June 21.
Kimberly Puckett, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fees and court cost $385.19 due Aug. 30.
LaToshia R. Rabourn, terroristic threatening, 3rd degree, alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Failed to appear, bench warrant $1,000.
William Reed, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fees and court cost of $333, due July 5.
Cleveland Riley, receiving stolen property under $500-2 counts. Not guilty plea entered. Preliminary hearing May 17.
Vickie Shuck, theft by deception. Failed to appear, warrant for $622.68.
Jessica Southworth, harassing communications. Not guilty. Continue to June 7.
Mary Starks, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fee and court cost of $275.50 due July 5.
Dereck Allen Sullivan, assault 4th degree domestic violence no visible injury-2 counts. Not guilty plea entered. Pretrial conference May 24.
Shane Surratt, theft by deception. Guilty plea entered. Restitution, fees and court cost of $267.52 due June 7.
Melissa Gale Wackenthaler, assault 4th degree domestic violence no visible injury. Guilty plea entered to amended charge of disorderly conduct, 2nd offense. 60 days conditionally discharge for 2 years, court cost $143, apply bond and refund balance.
Christopher B. West, show cause for proof of ADE enrollment and $393 due. Paid and proof shown.
Jesse W. Wilhelm, speeding 15 mph over limit, improper equipment, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, 1st offense, license to be in possession, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, buying or possessing, operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Continue to May 24.
Steven D. Woosley, assault 4th degree domestic violence minor injury. 6-month diversion. $100 diversion fee due June 7; review for dismissal Nov. 8.

Mark A. Eggleston, no or expired registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, no or expired other state registration receipt or plates. Dismissed.
Michael C. Evridge, failure to wear seat belts. Failed to appear. Notify DOT.
Jimmie Graham Fox, show cause. Defendant lied to court about being sober and staying at Healing Place. 10 days jail for contempt.

Ray E. Perkinson Jr., failure to wear seat belts, operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc, .08, 1st offense. Guilty plea entered to DUI, 1st aggravator. $718 fine and court cost due Aug. 2; Enrollment in ADE program for 1st offenders due June 7; 30 days suspension of license and 4 days to serve in jail.
John A. Shaw, booster seat violations. Failed to appear, notify DOT.
Terry L. Smith, failure to wear seat belts, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense, no operators or moped license. Failed to appear, warrant $1,000.
