Motorcyclist suffers minor injuries

A motorcyclist was injured in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 421 North in Bedford at 2:33 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Jason Long of Milton Fire and Rescue said Sharon Smith lost control of the bike and overturned. She was transported by Trimble County EMS to King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Ind., for treatment of minor injuries. The accident was investigated by Kentucky State Police Post 5.

Extension, Goat Producers field day

The North Central Kentucky  Goat Producers Association and the Trimble County Cooperative Extension will host a goat and sheep field day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the TC Extension office, 43 High Country Lane, Bedford. TCHS alumni, Milton fish fry raiser funds

The final total raised at the 2009 Trimble County High School Alumni Banquet on April 18 was $1,017. The money will be awarded as a scholarship to one college-bound student in the Class of 2009.   Milton Volunteer Fire and Rescue raised about $1,500 on Saturday, April 25, organizers said. About 1,000 people showed up to eat a fish sandwich meal and look at antique tractors. (Photo at top of this page.)
