New estimate brings athletic complex cost to $1.6 million

Trimble County Board of Education on Wednesday unanimously approved updated design and construction documents for Phase One of a proposed new athletic facility for the high school.
Architect Stan Klausing of Scott-Klausing and Company presented changes for Phase One. The plan includes a baseball, softball and tennis complex to be built on property owned by the district just west of Bedford Elementary on Mount Pleasant Road.
