It only took about two minutes for a lone gunman to rob Cook’s Pharmacy on Main Street in New Castle of prescription pills, according to Detective Danny Stivers of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
Stivers said at about 1:48 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, the robber lured an employee from behind the pharmacy counter, claiming that he thought he had pink eye. As the employee began pointing out products the man might want to try, the suspect allegedly pulled a gun and handed a plastic bag to the employee, ordering that he fill it with prescription pain killers.
