Mustangs run wild in Trimble tourney

The Henry County Mustangs played in the Trimble County tournament on the weekend of July 28th. The Mustangs won all four games they played, scoring 54 runs and hitting 6 home runs.

The leading hitter was Jaydon Berry who hit .667, going 10-15 with 3 home runs and 13 RBI’s. Berry also won 2 games pitching, striking out 20 batters in 10 innings.

Trimble County’s own Adam Young was an iron man, catching all four games. Bookie Ruff, Bobby Crisp and Evan McMahon all batted over .600 with a home run each.
