A Bedford motorcyclist was killed Friday, July 27 in a crash on Highway 42 in Trimble County.
Dispatchers at the Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a call at 8:22 p.m. from concerned family members when the driver, 61-year-old James Busey from Bedford, had not returned after leaving his home approximately four hours earlier.
Troopers and family members began searching for Busey. Post 5 dispatchers received another call at 9:38 p.m. when Busey was found unresponsive near the intersection of Highway 42 and Latta Road.
