Robin Conway, 45, a resident of Carrollton Manor, 205 Fifth Street in Carrollton walked away from the facility sometime Friday, Sept. 12.

Conway was found Sunday, two days after she went missing, in a Louisville, Ky., Kroger, where she was trying to find a phone.

Authorities were called and Conway was taken to University Hospital in Louisville. She was transported back to the Carrollton facility by 2 p.m. Sunday, according to Louise Jones, assistant administrator at the Manor.

Jones said the Carrollton police were notified at 8:30 p.m. Friday that Conway had not returned for supper at 5 p.m.

“We gave her a while to come back,” Jones said.  “Residents are allowed to come and go as they please, but they are supposed to sign out when they leave.  We’ve never had a resident wander off before.”
