The Milton-Madison Bridge will be reduced to one lane on Monday, Feb. 20, from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Engineers from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be monitoring items on the bridge that were highlighted in the 2009 in-depth inspection.
In 2010, the Cabinet implemented an in-house two-month inspection frequency to review these locations and make sure repairs are not warranted. The goal is to keep the Milton-Madison Bridge operational during the super-structure replacement project.
