Milton billing procedures approved

The Milton City Commission approved a policy of billing procedures Thursday. The policy will become effective on Jan. 1, 2013.

Commissioner Tom Mahoney was the lone dissenting vote as the commission approved the billing policy.

“I think all of you know from previous meetings I don’t agree with this,” Mahoney said prior to the vote. “There’s quite a few things that’s going to have to be monitored. Who is going to monitor all of this? I think we’re babysitting too many people.”
