Michigan man arrested after 100-mph chase

A high-speed chase through two counties Thursday evening ended with the arrest of the driver in front of the Carrollton Post Office on Highland Avenue.

The chase began in Gallatin County, when Warsaw police attempted to stop Shane Hall, 33, of Lincoln Park, Mich., driving a stolen 1998 Jeep.

Gallatin County Sheriff Nelson Brown said Hall was driving erratically when police flashed their lights to pull him over. Instead of stopping, Hall fled westbound on U.S. 42, Brown said, adding that his department joined the chase when Hall left the city limits of Warsaw.
