McMahan arraigned in S.D. on rape charge; posts bond

Brent McMahan, 41, of Carrollton was arraigned Tuesday, Oct. 28, on charges of third-degree rape, a Class 2 felony in the 5th Judicial Circuit in Edmunds County, S.D.

The charges stem from an allegation from Lisa Davis, 30, a resident of South Dakota, that on May 4, McMahan allegedly had sexual intercourse with her while she was allegedly unable to give consent because of an intoxicating narcotic, anesthetic agent or hypnosis, according to the indictment.
