McCane to undergo evaluation; trial rescheduled

Judge Karen Conrad last week upheld a motion to prevent the attorney for Marion “Frank” McCane to introduce information regarding a court case in Georgia,  in which similar charges were brought against another man by the minor who alleges McCane had sexually abused her.
McCane was indicted May 20 on 19 counts ranging from first-degree rape, sodomy and sexual abuse to second-degree sodomy. The charges stem from a complaint by the minor that he had been abusing her since September 2002, when she was 8 years old.
