Marjorie Wilson Yenowine, 77, of Pendleton, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange.
Born March 27, 1931 in Madison, Ind., she was the daughter of Orwood M. Sr. and Margaret Killian Wilson.
She graduated from Madison High, attended Hanover College for one year and attended Norton Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1952. She married George H. Yenowine August 31, 1952 at the Madison Presbyterian Church. In 1954 her husband entered the U.S. Navy and they became a military family for the next 22 years. After retirement they settled in Trimble County Kentucky in 1976.
Survivors include her husband, Commander George H. Yenowine, U.S.N., Ret.; two daughters, Rebecca Y. French and Loretta Y. Bentley; five grandchildren, Melissa Benton, Justin Clark, Joshua Bentley, Dennie and Michel French, and three great-grandchildren; a brother, O. M. “Butch” Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and a nephew preceded her in death.
She will be cremated and no services will be held, per her wishes.

Robert Whayne Leatherman, 51, of Sulphur, died August 6, 2008 at his residence.
Born February 15, 1957 in Shelbyville, he was the son of the late Ora Lee Davis and Tommy Leatherman.
He was self-employed and helped many with farm work as well as his regular jobs. He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include a brother Tommy Leatherman, Milton; sister Sharon Finney, Pleasureville; aunt Thelma Berry, Port Royal; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were August 9, 2008 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg, with Reverend Russell McCane officiating.
Burial was at the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.
