Marathon man

Sam Moore participated in the inaugural Louisville Sports Commission Half Marathon on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011. Moore completed the 13.1-mile half marathon with a time of 1:39:33. He was second in his age category and 150th out of 2,326 participants. Moore now plans to train to run a full marathon. Sam is a freshman at the University of Kentucky. His parents are Jeff and Lisa Moore, Bedford.
