The Bedford Town Board signed the final bond issue for the sewer works and the loan was closed as FMHA officials and others involved in the project met last Friday morning at the Bedford City Hall. The sewer project was funded by FmHA loan of $525,000, a FmHA grant of $52,000 and an Environmental Protection Agency grant of $1,091,800, a total of $1,668,900. The loan portion is to be paid back within 40 years from the rates and charges for the use of the sewer facility.
