A 97,700-gallon stand pipe (water silo) will be completed this week in Milton. With the new stand pipe a booster pump at the city limits on U.S. 42 will fill and back pressure and will handle pressure in the small lines.
May 8th has been designated Bedford Clean up Day. Tyler Sanitation will pick up your throw-aways and clutter if you put them on the curb. They will take away everything but junk cars and dead livestock.
