W.R. Abbott received a 25-year silver plated postmaster’s service pin Monday morning. Next spring Mr. Abbott will receive his 35-year gold pin, which will be representative of the total credible years of service as carrier-postmaster, etc.  
County sanction is sought for a $10 million hospital near LaGrange to serve Oldham, Henry and Trimble counties.
