Library has new offerings

-A A +A

If you were one of the lucky number who received an e-reader, MP3 player, iPod, or iPad for Christmas, you will be happy to know that library now offers free downloadable e-books, audiobooks, and music.  Users may browse the library’s website, check out with a valid library card, and download these to PC, Mac, and many mobile devises.  Users will need to install free software.  For audiobooks, music, and video, OverDrive Media Console is required.  To read eBooks, users will need Adobe Digital Editions.

Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod, Sony Reader, Nook, and many others.  Some audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen on-the-go.

Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period.  There are no late fees!  This new service is free for patrons.  To get started downloading, visit http://www.youseemore.com/trimble.  For technical help, call the library to set up a one-on-one help session at 502-255-7362.  If you have been thinking about getting an e-reader but are still not sure, the library has several you can evaluate.  Just let us know!
