LaVerne Burke Wright, 79

LaVerne “Topsy” Burke Wright, 79, Dayton, Ohio, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at the Walnut Creek Nursing Center in Kettering, Ohio.

Born May 14, 1932 in Milton, she was the daughter of Brownlo and Lucinda Burke, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Victor Wright, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, James Wright, Madison, Ind.; three daughters, Patricia Szewczak of Virginia Beach, Va., Sharon Rhea of Phoenix, Az., and Victoria Lynn Wright of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at the Vail-Holt Funeral & Cremation Service with Jack D. Oliver officiating. Burial was in Moffett Cemetery, Milton.
