It wasn’t always pretty, but it was a win.
The Trimble County Lady Raiders managed to pull out a win on the road against the Carroll County Lady Panthers 3-1 Thursday night, despite not playing their ‘A’ game.
Trimble head coach Ruth Staples said to come out with a win when your team plays bad is “encouraging.”
“I’m not looking for excuses, but I have a lot,” she said. “We have been so pumped for this Class A that after winning that, it was just like a major monkey on our back.”
