Chattanooga, Tenn. – Jim Rogers, 64, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.

Funeral services were Friday Sept. 5. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, with the Revs. Johnny Nix, Randy Bell and Bill Denham officiating. Burial was in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Rogers was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. He was employed with Ben Miller and Cool Springs Beauty Supplies. He was a member of Harmon Baptist Church and was active in the bus ministry and Men’s Fellowship.

Survivors include  his mother, Mary Ruth (Luther) Tittle; his wife, Bonnie Baker Rogers, formerly of Carrollton; a daughter, Kristin (Chad) Cocks of Chattanooga; a son, Gregory Rogers, Chattanooga; two sisters, Diane (Larry) Caperton and Sandy Rogers, both of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Rogers, and a son, Jeff Rogers.
