An Indiana man has been arrested after allegedly raping his live-in girlfriend’s nine-year-old daughter, according to Trooper Brad Arterburn, Public Information Officer for the Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg.
Twenty-five-year-old Aaron Hoeferkamp, North Vernon, Ind., was arrested by detectives from KSP Post 5 on Friday afternoon, Jan. 11, at the Trimble County courthouse, Arterburn said in a news release. An investigation showed that Hoeferkamp reportedly raped the girl on January 2nd after her mother left their home in Bedford. Hoeferkamp was charged with Rape 1st Degree (victim under 12 years of age) and lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
KSP Detective Mickey Gonterman is leading the ongoing investigation.
