WORTHVILLE, Ky. – Harold Scott, 59, of Worthville died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Ky.

Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 17, at Seventh Day Adventists Church, Gratz, Ky., with Pastor Lin Powell officiating.

Mr. Scott was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Switzerland County, Ind., to the late Colon Vernon and Peggy Faust Scott. He worked as a cement plasterer and mason for Local No. 132, OPCM in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Gratz Seventh Day Adventists Church.

Survivors include his wife; Rose M. Scott of Worthville; a step-daughter, Roxanne Aquin of Honolulu, Hawaii, a step-son, Eric Rodrigues of Maui, Hawaii; four sisters, Phyllis Smith, of Stratford, Okla., Harriet Colello of Worthville, Frances Teague of Columbia, Ky., and Martha Wainscot of Dillsboro, Ind.; a brother, Pryor James Scott of Erlanger, Ky.; two half-sisters, Bonnie Roland of Cherokee, Ala., and Patty Wilburn of Warsaw, Ky.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, David Rodrigues; a sister, Harriett Louise Scott; an infant sister, Nellie Louise Scott; and a half-brother, James Vernon Scott.
