Graves at cemetery should not be moved

Mr. Nam V. Do has intentions to relocate the Moore/Washburn Cemetery, located at 1171 Gilgal Rd, Turners Station. The families buried there include Moore, Washburn, Smith, Perry, Gillion, William Florence and Hill.

He stated that the graveyard was abandoned. The cemetery has a rock wall surrounding it. For some years the cemetery was cleaned off and just recently cleaned up again.

It is a tragedy to have this cemetery removed. The Robert Moore family members and friends are buried there. Family members believe our ancestors should rest in peace in a place of their choosing.

No one should have the right to dig up the ancestors of another person. We the family members object to removal of this cemetery.
