Governor appoints Stevens to committee

Gov. Steven Beshear has appointed Bedford resident Randy K. Stevens to the Local Distribution Fund Oversight Committee to serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2015.

Stevens, formerly the Trimble County Judge-Executive, is executive director for the Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts. He represents the interests of special districts other than school districts. The appointment replaces Russ Harper, whose term has expired.
