The 13th annual Owen and Carroll County Charity Golf Scramble was Monday, July 14, at Fairway Golf Course in Wheatley, Ky.

Carroll County Sheriff Ben Smith co-hosted the event, which was a huge success. Proceeds benefit boys and girls ages 8-11 from throughout Kentucky, allowing them to attend the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Boys and Girls Ranch.

We send our heartfelt thanks to Sheriff Smith and his crew for their continued support and efforts to raise money for children in Kentucky. Their support and help –not only for this event, but for the ranch as a whole – ensures we can continue to reach out to Kentucky’s youth in a positive manner.

We also send a huge thank-you for the hard work of all involved; those playing in the tournament, as well as those sponsoring holes and donating gifts and prizes. Your support will see that Carroll County children and others from throughout Kentucky, are able to attend camp can continue to learn the values and morals we strive to teach.

Thank you for an outstanding tournament, and we hope everyone will join us for next year’s event.
