The Carroll County High School girls soccer team will have a breast cancer awareness night during our home soccer game vs. Whitefield Academy on Sept. 23, game time scheduled for 6 p.m. We are working with our local American Cancer Society representatives to help put it on. They will be selling t-shirts as well as baked goods the night of the event.

During half time we will be doing a balloon release “in honor of” and “in memory of.” Even though this is a first-year program, the girls are wanting to make a difference in their community and wish to help out where they can, so we wish to invite anyone that has been touched by cancer to show up and support the ACS and the Panthers soccer program as they “Kick cancer to the sidelines.”

Anyone with questions can call (502) 525-0795.
