Trimble County Fiscal Court plans to discuss animal control in the county at the Dec. 20 regular monthly meeting.
County Attorney Perry Arnold told the court that several residents recently have complained that calls to Dan Flinkfelt, the animal control officer assigned to the county by the Kentucky Humane Society, are going unanswered.
The county contracts with KHS for animal control, paying $55,000 annually for the service. Flinkfelt is based at the KHS Henry County animal shelter in Eminence.
