Fiscal court address personnel, road issues

Trimble County Fiscal Court hired a part-time maintenance mechanic for the county Road Department during a special meeting Thursday, June 28.

Tom Boaz of Milton was hired to maintain all the trucks used by the road department. He will earn $13.50 an hour. Judge-Executive Randy Stevens said a position description will be drawn up to outline Boaz’s exact duties, plus a written agreement that clarifies who is responsible for tools kept in the road barn.
