CARROLLTON, Ky. – A Madison, Ind., man was killed and four others injured in an explosion Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the Harsco Metals facility in Gallatin County.
Harsco employee Robin Kelley, 48, was pronounced dead on arrival at Carroll County Memorial Hospital by the Carroll County coroner’s office, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Four others were injured in what investigators say was an explosion involving a large tire on heavy-equipment vehicle that was being repaired inside a maintenance facility at Harsco, KSP officials said.
