Driver charged with DUI after car strikes two houses

A Louisville man was arrested Sept. 28 and charged with DUI after the vehicle he was driving collided with two houses outside Milton.

Mark Jeffery, 36, was arrested shortly after the collision that damaged two homes in the 9900 block of Hwy. 421 North.

According to Milton Fire & Rescue Assistant Chief Jason Long, a 1999 Buick Lasabre crashed into the two homes, “running through the garage” of one, after Jeffrey lost control of the car just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

No one inside either home was hurt, however a passenger in the vehicle, Sherry Jeffery, of Louisville, was transported to Kings’ Daughters Hospital complaining of minor injuries.
