'Alice in Wonderland' performed last weekend

By The Staff

With some incredible costumes and set designs, the cast and crew of "Alice in Wonderland" gave a commanding performance Friday and Saturday night at Trimble County High School.

The first act featured Kim Minch as "Wonderland Alice" and depicts all the strange characters she encounters in Lewis Carroll's classic children's story. The second act featured Shelby Copeland as "Through the Looking Glass" Alice, who is working through the eight steps of becoming a queen.

Both Alices – and about 25 other cast members – did a great job, and obviously worked very hard to learn lines that were, at times, quite tricky.  The Friday night show drew a great crowd, drama club coach Jon Graham said, and concessions sold both nights helped to raise money for the TCHS Academic Team.
