Cton Wesleyan to host Realm

-A A +A

The Carrollton Wesleyan Church, 216 Third Street in Carrollton, will host a concert by The Infinite Realm at 6 p.m., Sunday, March 25.

The Infinite Realm originated with a group of students at Trimble County High School in 1969. This year marks the 43rd year of music ministry for the group. All current members are Trimble graduates. The group includes Carrollton resident Tony Gossom, Bedford resident Paul Wright, Campbellsburg resident Neal Wright, Milton resident Ken Boyer who serves as the sound engineer, and Hanover-area residents Steve Brown, Ricky Mahoney and Dave Taylor.

Although the group began as a gospel quartet, today’s lineup offers up a wide variety of musical styles to suit audiences, which are diversified in age and musical taste. All of the songs contain a strong Biblical message. Many of the selections included in a typical Infinite Realm concert were composed by group members.

The ensemble is in the process of recording their latest compact disc album in Hendersonville, Tenn., at the studios of longtime Oak Ridge Boys keyboard artist Ron Fairchild. The album is scheduled for release later this spring. A number of songs from the new album will be included in Sunday’s concert.

The Rev. Jonathan Haynes and the Carrollton Wesleyan congregation invite the community to share in this musical worship experience.
